WELCOME TO GOLDEN ACRES!

The Golden Acres Garden Centre and Nursery Group have been passionate about plants and gardening since we opened our first Garden Centre in 1980.

Whilst still at school managing director, Paul Richards, had a passion for plants. When he left school it was natural for him to want to pass this on to others and the Golden Acres Group was born with the opening of his first site at West Parley, near Bournemouth Dorset. Following the success of this Centre he acquired a site at Landford, between Salisbury and Southampton, on the Hampshire-Wiltshire border. The expansion has continued with the purchase and redevelopment of Cadnam Garden Centre, near Southampton, Hampshire. His latest acquisition, John Browns Garden Centre, near Wimborne on the Dorset-Hampshire border will be undergoing a major re-fit to bring it to the same high standard as the rest of the Golden Acres group.

All three original sites have a high level of quality facilities including Coffee Shops offering a selection of hot and cold drinks, tempting cakes and pastries along with delicious hot and cold food.

Our passion for plants does not stop there as, unusually, we grow many of the plants that are for sale. Every year our Wholesale Division grows over 3 million plants for the horticultural industry and we operate a Cash and Carry outlet for trade only. Our dedication to the industry culminates in our GAN trade show (trade only).
